The Management and Staff of Riverton Childcare recognise that smoking is hazardous to the health of all staff and children who are in contact with smoke and will ensure that Riverton Childcare is a SMOKE FREE AREA.

Guidelines

To ensure that on no occasion is any person permitted to smoke within the building or playground areas of the Centre, the Management and Staff will ensure that:

•  Any person wishing to smoke will be required to leave the Centre property to do so.

•  No smoking signs are displayed on the Centre front door.

Any person wishing to make a complaint about this policy should do so in writing to the Manager.
