The Management and Staff of Riverton Childcare endeavour to maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas. It is important for the Childcare linen to be laundered regularly.

Guidelines

•  Under Two children will have their own bedding. If their bedding is removed from their cot for someone else to use the cot the bedding will be placed in a named pillowcase.

•  All Under Two bedding will be washed once a week (usually Friday) and hung out to dry over the weekend.

•  The washing machine in the Centre will be used for the Childcare washing. If the machine is not working or available for some reason, the Manager of the Centre will take the washing home to be washed, separate to the family washing.

•  A drier is available in the garage if needed.

•  Any clothing belonging to the children that might need washing, will be placed in a plastic bag, put in the child's cubby hole and sent home to be washed.

•  Dress ups, aprons, blankets etc will be washed as necessary.
