AIM

Riverton Childcare aims to be a service to parents, so they can do the things they have to do (whether that is work, study, care for other family members, have a rest, some time out or whatever) and they can know that their children are safe, happy and learning while they play.

DESCRIPTION

Riverton Childcare is open from 7.30-5.45, five days a week, and there are vacancies for all day, part time and casual care for children birth to five years. The Centre is licenced for ten under-two and 22 over-two children, and is run by qualified early childhood educators with experienced teacher aides. The Centre is open all year except three-four weeks over the Christmas period.

FEES

The fees are $3.75 p/hr over-two and $5 p/hr under-two. There is a 50% discount for the second child (under five years old) in a family (usually the older child). There are also contract rates available for full time care of $100 p/week over two and $125 p/week under two. For parents who are studying, on a low income or on a benefit WINZ subsidies (of up to $3.70 p/hr) are also available.
